Been a lot of buzz about an old but only just released Banksy image. In case you’re not aware Banksy is the famous graffiti artist from Bristol in the UK.

Armoured Peace Dove - it can be found on a wall in Palestine -  This wall marks the spot where over 40 people were killed during the first Intafada (the little holes along the top are from bullets).

While Banksy was painting it a lot of people came over, some to shake his hand and others telling him to go away. Soon the local MP was called out to calm down the eighty-strong crowd that had built up (by which time Banksy had left and the piece was completed by the local kids).  Its a volley image but very haunting. Works well as a Full Colour Banksy T Shirt - if the design is well reproduced.

The recent exhibition in Bristol  was a huge success and got everyone talking about the enigma that is Banksy and it looks like his popularity is not waning anytime soon.

The exhibition saw some great new images on display including a controversial one of a woman in traditional Islamic dress wearing an apron showing a semi naked body holding a pan of eggs - How do you like your eggs ? Also one of a rather large couple being pulled by a child in a rickshaw  - once again its Banksy commenting on the capitalist world in his own unique way.

Indeed there is an image of people queuing to buy a t shirt that says destroy capitalism  - he did this in Los Angeles and it was part of an exhibition called barely Legal.

Gift Baskets: Chocolate or Flowers?

Just about the most versatile gifts you can gift is a gift basket. If you personalize it, it may be an unbelievable and unforgettable gift. Break away from the stereotype of what a gift basket represents.

Several of you may reckon a gift basket is not appropriate for your nine year old nephew, or perhaps your sports-obsessed uncle. But when you produce the gift basket you can make it anything you desire. For instance the basket portion doesn’t need to be a traditional wicker basket. It may be a football helment turned upside down to support the other gifts, like tickets to a game or a rolled up jersey or some favorite snacks and a t-shirt. Or the basket may be a toy truck filled with other little play toys.

Do not insulate yourself to only providing gift baskets to certain people, whether you choose gift baskets for children or basket presents for your old grandma.

One of the reasons it’s enjoyable to receive a gift basket is because of the variety of items in that basket. The presents in the container are ofttimes based on a specific subject that suits the person getting the present and sometimes it is designed for the affair too. Are candy gift baskets most befitting for the juncture or does the person really appreciate sports or flowers?

But when you’re making a basket you can do whatsoever you need. If you know the recipient really well you might give a range of particulars that have no association or theme, but that have a purpose to the two of you.

Scores of people, old and young, male and female, have a sweet tooth, so do not forget to regard a chocolate gift basket. But do not push such sweets on everyone, either!

For the gardener in your life you can give a fine watering can as the basket and occupy it with herb, vegetable or flower seeds you’re sure he or she will like. You can also add some gardening gloves, small horticulture tools and perhaps even a starter flower or plant. Individualize it by adding unique things you’re sure she or he will like.

So just put some consideration into the basket and the special someone who will be accepting it. Be sure you are sensitive to any dietary restrictions including food allergic reactions or any particular tastes.
