Appearance is very important when it comes to a lot of women. They are a constantly pressured to look beautiful all the time. Women really take their time and effort just to make sure that they look fabulous! Knowing this, stretch marks will always be a threat to a lot of women. No one likes it when they start seeing silver or red streaks on their skin. This can really look hideous.
Stretch marks normally form in the body. One of the most common causes of this is puberty. Adolescents often gain weight during this stage in their life. This weight gin eventually damages the dermis which causes scarring in this layer. These scars are actually what we see as the stretch marks on the skin, resulting from over stretching of the skin.
Genetics is often related to the formation of these marks. Skin elasticity is often the main issue in the formation of stretch marks. People who are blessed with elastic skin do not have to be afraid. They are less likely to form these marks on the skin. Even if their skin is stretched due to weight gain, this will still revert back without tearing.
Eating a healthy diet prevent this from happening. Maintaining your weight at a constant level is what you have to do. Don’t allow yourself to gain a significant amount of weight or else, you will only cause your skin to stretch.
Drinking water is something that you have to do when avoiding stretch marks. Since water provides the skin with the right amount of moisture, it keeps it hydrated. The skin remains elastic when it is supplied with the right amount of water. Drink the recommended amount of water daily to keep your skin healthy all the time.
Hormonal changes contribute to the formation of these stretch marks. When there is an increase in hormones, this can reduce the elasticity of the skin. It affects the fluid level in the skin which makes it prone to the formation o stretch marks. Plus, the rate of collagen and elastin formation also decreases with this.
Treatments for stretch marks are not hard to find. One effective homemade remedy is by mixing olive oil, vitamin E cream and aloe vera gel. Adding enough brown sugar to this mixture will actually exfoliate the skin. This does not only moisturize the skin, but it also helps in removing the top layer of the skin. Apply this in circular motion to stimulate blood to flow in the skin. Stretch marks will be reduced in no time.

Apparently, in this present world, you can find many cures for depression, but it’s not easy to find the real cause behind whats troubling you so that it can be treated naturally. More and more cases of depression in teens are being reported today by doctors and scientists. This may be because more teens are asking for help with their condition, because doctors are getting better at diagnosing the condition, or simply because there are more and more cases to be reported.
We can’t ignore the fact of teen depression as it is spreading rapidly. For whatever the factor it might be but some cases are so serious which have ended up in tragedy. You have to take action against it if you or a family member of yours is suffering from depression.
It is basically due to a missing chemical in the brain which makes the sufferers not have a good mood. There can be physical or internal factors which affect the sufferer badly due to which depression is the end.
If the required amount of this chemical is not produced then you will anyway lead to depression. It is also caused in teens mostly due the chemical imbalance. Many other physical causes like fluctuation of hormones which is common during puberty can also lead to depression.
You can get rid of some of these physical causes of depression as time goes by in teens. When they grow older there hormones begin to level off. Still you shouldn’t wait for this to happen and ignore the causes of this condition.
Bullying is the major factor in causing teen depression. If a person is unable to find an answer to his or her problems then also ends up in depression, it may be due to a bad marriage, a bad debt, or a tiring job and many more reasons.
Teens and kids are often helpless when it comes to being bullied in school. Where as adults can soon come out of problems. Teens are often afraid to discuss such things with their parents also.
They often can’t bear the humiliation and them being unable to do anything about it. There are many other ways in which a bullied teen often falls into the path of depression.
For instance if they live in an abusive home or even if one parent is negligent or abusive, if they are using any kind of drugs, if they have failing grades, or if they feel they are under tremendous amounts of pressure to perform academically or athletically, these factors too can cause depression in teens.
Teens should approach their parents whenever they are stuck in a problem, and parents should help them find a solution not punish them. They also need a lot of family support which will also help them to recover.
Disclaimer: Whatever you do, make sure to consult with your doctor first before taking a step further.

Plenty of individuals all over the world suffer from stretch marks. Both men and women will find them showing after times of rapid growth such as puberty. Women, more often than not,as is often the case, suffer with them after pregnancy.
They occur as our skin attempts to maintain its expansion with the level of growth in the bones, muscles or, in the case of pregnancy, baby. Invariably however, it fails to do so and tears form in the middle layer of skin, referred to as the Dermis. These tears appear as red streaks initially and change over time to a silvery colour.
The stretch marks are actually areas of skin with reduced levels of collagen. As the skin is ripped in two during the growth phase, it fails to heal itself so that it appears like its former state. Of course, it is only a cosmetic issue as there is little or no medical downside to having these marks.
To get rid of stretch marks, involves boosting the levels of collagen within the Dermis layer of skin. This is most effectively achieved by increasing your own physical natural ability to generate collagen as opposed to introducing it from alternative sources. The best technique for doing this is skin-needling, using Dermarollers, as a type of collagen induction therapy.
The other additional benefit of this type of treatment, is the way in which it increases the effectiveness of creams and oils, such as the commonly used bio oil. It gives these lotions the ideal conditions to penetrate the upper levels of skin far more effectively providing a much enhanced result.
As with anything health or medical related, it is important to do your research and go and see your doctor before beginning or using any product or treatment.
