Free Traffic

Visitors that access a website due to the Internet presence and promotion of a certain business is also known as free traffic, as opposed to the situation when website owners pay to get page visitors. Free traffic represents the normal result of good web page indexation, optimization and maintenance. The popularity of a website should always be on the rise, provided that it addresses a niche market, and it promotes a quality product. How advantageous is free traffic? That is a totally different issue if we analyze the relevance of web surfers for a business.

Some business owners pay professional services to make their website competitive, increase the page rank and thus attract more people’s attention. The chances to make sales increase when you get more visitors directed to your pages. At least, this is what it seems to be like at first glance. Sometimes you make no sale in a hundred page accesses. How is this possible? The choice of keywords is what determines where things stand here. And I will show you how it works.

Let’s say you promote pet food. Unless you choose very specialized keywords, you will attract general web surfers that are irrelevant for your business. Thus, instead of using short keywords, you should go for the so called long-tails that are more specialized. If there is too big a discrepancy between the free traffic you get to your website and the sales, then, you should check your keywords status.

This is how many people get back to search engine optimization, and redefine their approach to the domain. A good solution for making the right keyword choices from the very beginning is to use some keyword selecting tools that identify the highest in demand keywords and provide you with full listings of terms. Some of these will be used for article marketing, others for search engine optimization, but they all aim at increasing the level of free traffic and sales.

You could do a bit of reading about the rules that make free traffic advantageous for businesses. You will inevitably come across suggestions and tips from marketing experts and more experienced marketers. Take whatever you consider useful and relevant in such materials and implement the information in your business strategies. Good luck!

My Top 3 Affiliate Marketing Tips

Posted: under General hot topic.
Tags: , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , ,

What I am about to reveal will probably not make some fellow gurus happy, but this needs to be said:

- No matter what they say about affiliate marketing, it’s virtually impossible for everyone to get those 5,000 - 10,000 dollars a month they are raving on about. The reason? There is simply too much competition! However my fellow gurus are correct on one point: No money will fall into your hands if you are not doing anything to get it there…

I decided to help you get started in the right state of mind, by giving you these high level tips below, that will help you make some money with the different kinds of affiliate marketing programs you can find on the internet.

1. Google Adwords

Some say the days of free traffic are over, but there are still some traffic coming that way, however those hits are surely fading away quickly. You can choose to work hard creating web pages that rank well in the search engines, but still - it’s very hard to do. If you still feel like trying, there are lots of Search Engine Optimization Guides available for you to download, both paid and free.

Simply by paying for clicks with Google (it’s called the Adwords program), you can get the top three positions on the search engines that matter the most - in a matter of minutes. It may come as no surprise to you that there are lots of guides available on how to optimize your google adwords campaigns as well! Did you know that the “engine” that drives some of the traffic is called Adsense? The adsense program allows website owners to put ads on their sites, and when the ads are clicked - the site owner just made some cents online. Most Google Adwords Guides recommend turning off that part of the campaign, due to the click fraud involved, which will give you bad quality, non converting traffic.

2. Your own email list

Building an email list of subscribers is hard, but doable. The task of sending offers to your very own email list is the ideal way to build a residual income online. Instead of sending traffic away and hoping for the best, the best alternative for you (in my opinion) is having your own email list to which you will be able to send multiple offers on periodic intervals. There are lots of autoresponder services that you can subscribe to, and if you feel like having total control, there are several Autoresponder Scripts available for purchase as well.

3. Having Your own affiliate program

Did you know that the gurus are aware of the fact that every visitor that fills out form on your site can generate 50 cent in revenue? What about if you pay someone 25 cents (50% commission) to generate that same amount of traffic, that you would otherwise pay Google to get?

This is the secret most newbies don’t know (and that the gurus don’t want you to know about): Let others generate the traffic you need to make some sales! There are a lot of advantages using this approach, including the fact that now others pay Google to get the traffic for you.

Final Words:

Yes, when it all comes down to it, everything involves paying for traffic in one way or the other. Just remember - in order to make the online income you dream about, you’ll need to invest very wisely in the different kinds of advertising available to you.

To Your Success,

Blogging Traffic A Bit Of Give And Take

Posted: under General hot topic.
Tags: , , , , , , , ,

Blogging traffic is a give and take relationship. Sometimes one of the best ways to get traffic to your blog is by visiting someone else ’s blog.

Go to their blog and read one of their entries, or read a few of them. Chances are that you are going to find something that you have in common.

When you find something that you find truly interesting on a blog, leave a comment so that they know that you were there. One of the best known blogs available is LiveJournal.

A great feature of LiveJournal is that you can search for interests on their site and it will come up with results of those who have that interest.

Are you interested in horseback riding? You can see what other bloggers are interested in horseback riding as well. When you are commenting on someone’s post, you want to make sure that you don’t leave generic comment.

If you like the post, say something about what you read in the post. After you have commented on the person’s post, then you can say something like, “I really like horseback riding too. I had a similar experience to yours.”

and then use it to link back to your journal. You can do this with an acchor text such as gogvo or malta holidays.

But be sure that you sound sincere when you are commenting, and don’t make them feel like you’re just fishing for traffic.

By following these strategies, you will get yourself some free web traffic but if someone thinks that you are using their blog to get more traffic to yours, they won’t visit your site and your efforts will be wasted.

How to Actually Rank For Any Keyword With a Legitimate Search Engine

Posted: under General hot topic.
Tags: , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , ,

Everyone wants to have their site rank well in Google.

And why not? Not only can Google send you a boatload of free traffic - it’s also highly targeted, and it’s one of the best ways to drive business.

The problem is, that exact same ideal is shared with thousands of your direct competitors. This creates an environment where you’ll always be fighting, kicking and scratching to maintain your traffic - along with the ever present fear that your livelihood is only one “algorithm update” away from vanishing.

And that’s if you can even get ranked for any decent keyword, to begin with…

In fact, only the largest, most-established authority sites can reliably see consistent traffic from Google. And even then, their rankings fluctuate constantly - several times a day, in some cases.

The fact is - it’s getting harder and harder for the “little guy” to get any kind of meaningful web presence on the web these days.

Getting ranked in Google is almost impossible unless you’ve got a major promotional budget and some time on your hands to “wait” for your domain to become trusted (Google favors older domains). And advertising with pay-per-click ads isn’t affordable like it once was.

Search engines marketing has finally become what everyone feared it would - a game reserved for big business.

But what if there was still a way to legtiimately rank for keywords with tons of traffic?

And what if you could do this without having to spend months and even years building up an authority site to do so?

In fact - what if you could systematically create one-page minisites that could rapidly rank in the top 3 spots (consistently) for basically any keyword you target within a matter of a week or so?

Is this for real?

YES.

But not with Google.

It’s happening right now, as we speak, on MSN.com

Now - before you think it - yes, I know, MSN doesn’t have nearly the reach that Google does. But, it still does receive millions and millions of search users daily. After all - MSN is the default home-page for anyone who first uses Internet Explorer.

And, to put it in perspective, which would drive more traffic?

Occupying the #1 ranking for your most desirable keyword target on MSN?

Or occupying the #47 spot on page 5 of Google’s results?

Sadly, it’s actually more effort to make it to the 47th spot in Google than it is to literally dominate in MSN.

How does this work?

Watch this video to find out: Search Engine Loophole

Like I said - forget about Google.

Focus on something that you can actually WIN with, and win big!
